Dianopolis Chamber Orchestra Concert with Yordan Dafov

The Dianopolis Chamber Orchestra invites audiences to a new musical evening in Yambol. On 4 October 2026 at 4:00 PM, the orchestra will perform at the Bezisten Hall under the baton of Bulgarian conductor Yordan Dafov.

Yordan Dafov has had a long conducting career with leading Bulgarian orchestras, including the Sofia and Varna Philharmonic Orchestras. He studied conducting with Prof. Konstantin Iliev and composition with Prof. Pancho Vladigerov at the National Academy of Music.

The programme brings together works by Yordan Dafov, Naji Hakim and Felix Mendelssohn.

Felix Mendelssohn – Concerto for Violin and Piano in D minor

Soloists

The concert will also feature Angelina Abadzhieva – violin, Nadezhda Tsanova – piano and Iraqi violinist Alan Arif.
