Regional History Museum – Yambol is one of the city’s main cultural institutions, dedicated to researching, preserving and presenting the rich historical heritage of Yambol and the surrounding region.
The beginnings of museum activity in Yambol are connected with local historians and archaeologists and with the public’s interest in the past of the city and the region. On 2 June 1953, the first museum in Yambol was officially opened, laying the foundations for the development of the museum as an important cultural and research institution.
