Yambol City Park
Yambol City Park is one of the city's favourite places for walking, sports, leisure and spending time outdoors. Located on an island between two branches of the Tundzha River, the park is a large green space just a short walk from the city centre.
A green heart of Yambol
The park covers an area of approximately 278 decares and is home to a rich variety of trees and shrubs. Its avenues, spacious lawns and proximity to the river make it a natural place to escape the pace of the city.
More than a century of history
The beginning of Yambol City Park dates back to 1882, when its creation began on the initiative of the local community.
An important stage in its development came in 1925, when the municipality undertook a major expansion of the park to the large island between the two branches of the Tundzha River. The area reached 265 decares, new avenues were laid out, hundreds of trees were planted and the foundations of the park as we know it today were established.
A place for walks, sports and events
Today, Yambol City Park combines peaceful green areas, flower beds, avenues, playgrounds and sports zones with places for recreation and entertainment.
It is also one of Yambol's main outdoor venues for festivals, concerts and other events from the city's cultural calendar.

Rosarium
